Customer Care Responsibilities:
  • Meet with all current customers onsite at customer’s premises, to ensure satisfaction and to identify and address any concerns or needs.
  • Works proactively with customers to find solutions to problems and looks to uncover any sales opportunities
  • Schedules and performs retention calls on a regular basis. Sets appointments in order to address any current problems or concerns, review employee and responder lists, and any special instructions
  • Listens to customer to try and predict any future problems the customer may have
  • Gathers testimonials and referrals from existing customers
  • Maintain client information using necessary databases by inputting accurate and current contact activity and details
  • Responsible for effective internal communications within sales, operations, and the central monitoring station
  • Meet expectations of a minimum number of weekly client appointments as described in job description

The Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert who responsible for alleviating concerns our clients may have with their security, fire systems, access control and CCTV. This position has a heavy focus on customer service, highly organized; detail oriented with excellent time management and project management skills.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Minimum 2-years’ experience performing similar duties including installation or servicing of security systems
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software packages
  • Expert troubleshooting skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • Physical demands include: capable of sitting and standing for long periods of time; bending, kneeling, crawling, and stooping while working; work from high places, ceilings, ladders, drawl spaces and other small areas. Safely move and lift materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Knowledge of the following panel types: Silent Knight, Fire Light. DMP, Radionics, Ademco, Access, S2, IEI. CCTV, NVR’s, DVR’s. Digital Watchdog, Dedicated Micros
  • Cannot be color blind

Duties include but not limited to the following:
  • Fire testing
  • Work will be primarily be commercial but may be times necessary to handle a residential work order
  • Diagnose causes of problems or failures in the systems
  • Replace system components as assigned, panel, devices, wiring etc.
  • Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve client issues (on-call rotation)
  • Thorough explanations of the repairs, system capabilities and system operations to the clients
  • Read blueprints, building and electrical plans in order to compete equipment repairs
  • Accurately and timely completion of paperwork
  • Maintain inventory control of assigned equipment, tools and work truck
  • Keeping informed of new products and developments
  • Communication with the Central Station, Service Coordinator and Management
